List your house at the price your real estate agent says. The agent should be able tell you what your house will sell for. They should have comps of recent sales within the last 3 months. These are the same comps that mortgage appraisals will use when appraising the house. It is very important to list your house at the right price.

Make sure the agent works full time and is committed to selling your house. Top agents have experience negotiating skills and the money to spend on advertising. Understand that the market will dictate the price your home will sell for and the real estate agent will work to close the real estate deal.
